THEOLOGY TEACHER | CAMPUS MINISTER FOR ALUMNAE 

Sr. Angela Gertsema teaches freshman theology and serves as Campus Minister for SHA alumnae. She holds master’s degrees in psychology from Divine Mercy University and special education from Fordham University, as well as a B.S. in Elementary Education from Iona College. She has also earned certificates in spiritual direction from Fairfield University and facilitation through Facilitation for Transformation. Her educational experience includes nine years of elementary teaching in the Bronx, Bridgeport, and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. With particular interests in Sacred Heart devotion, faith formation, and group facilitation, Sr. Angela considers it a joy and privilege to accompany the young women and wider SHA community.
