Admission Process

It is our pleasure to introduce you to Sacred Heart Academy!
We are committed to supporting you through our application process with ease. Please read on for details and next steps. Important deadlines are noted in the calendar at the bottom of this page.

Students of all ages who are interested in applying to Sacred Heart Academy are encouraged to create a profile here in order to stay informed of Admissions news, upcoming events, and important deadlines.

Step 1 - Create A Profile

Create an Admission profile here so that we may keep in touch with you. We will reach out to coordinate a visit to SHA soon. We look forward to meeting you!

Step 2 - Complete The Online Application

You may work on the application and save it in sections. Your information is transmitted through a secure server and will only become available to our Admissions Committee upon completion.

Step 3 - Request & Submit Transcripts

Student transcripts from grades 6, 7 and 8 are required. 

Students applying for early action must provide their 6th & 7th grade transcripts prior to the application deadline. 8th grade transcripts will be required once they are available to ensure that grades have been maintained.

Students applying in the Fall should provide their 6th, 7th and current 8th grade transcripts by the Fall application deadline.

You may download and print the form below to provide to your current school in order to request your transcripts. 

Step 4: Teacher Recommendations

One recommendation from a core subject (English, Math, Science) is required. You may provide an additional recommendation form from any other subject if you desire. 

Download the form below and provide it to your teacher(s) so that they may complete and return it to SHA. 

Step 5 - Getting To Know You

Once your application has been submitted (or prior upon your request) the Admissions Team will reach out to coordinate a meeting with applicants and their parents in order to get to know each student beyond their application and test scores.

This will also afford students and their families the opportunity to ask questions in a warm and comfortable setting.
Students entering the 8th grade are eligible for Early Action beginning June 1st. The $60 fee will be waived for applications received between June 1, 2020 and September 30, 2020. Use the code WAIVE2020 when prompted in order to waive this fee.
Early acceptance notifications will be delivered by October 30, 2020. 

SHA has temporarily suspended entrance exams due to social distancing parameters. As a result, an exam will not be required for the 2020-21 academic year. However, transcripts will become even more critical in order to be considered for acceptance. Please refer to the application steps on this page for details on how to complete the application process.
