START THE APPLICATION PROCESS

When you apply to Sacred Heart Academy, you are taking the first step towards your future. 

ROLLING ADMISSIONS 

SHA is currently accepting applications for the Class of 2030 on a rolling basis. If you wish to be considered for admission for the 2026-27 academic year, all of your application materials (detailed below) must be received no later than July 1, 2026. 

CLASS OF 2031 

The application for the class of 2031 will go live on July 1, 2026. We encourage all prospective students to complete an admissions inquiry and create an admissions profile which will give you access to the application on July 1. 

A member of our Admissions Team will be in touch soon with more information about the application process, upcoming events, and opportunities to visit campus. In the meantime, we encourage you to explore our website and learn more about the many ways SHA empowers young women to grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

Step one

Admissions INQUIRY

The first step for all prospective students is to complete the admissions inquiry form so our staff can personalize your SHA Experience! Completing the form is simple, does not require a payment or commitment, and is your first step to learning more about our amazing school community. 

Upon completion of the inquiry form, you will receive a separate email indicating that an account has been created for you using the email address you have provided. Please click the link in that email to complete your admissions account set up.

Step Two

APPLICATION FORM

The online application form can be found by logging into your admissions portal. The information submitted via the application form is transmitted through a secure server  directly to the admissions office. Once your application is submitted, your application checklist will appear in your admissions profile indicating the remaining application steps. 

Application Deadline: December 1, 2025

Step Three

Transcripts

Once your online application form is complete, you will be prompted to request your transcripts from your current school. Submit the online request form to have your transcripts uploaded to your admissions profile.

Step Four

Recommendations

Two teacher recommendations are required. One must come from a teacher from a core subject or a school administrator, the other can come from a teacher of your choice. You may request your teacher recommendation using our online teacher recommendation submission in your admissions profile. The teacher will receive a link to our online recommendation form which is transmitted directly to SHA admissions once completed. You will receive notification once they have completed your recommendation.

Step FIVE

Entrance exam

Sacred Heart Academy requires the HSPT as part of the admissions process. Click here to register for the exam. 

• Test Date: Saturday, October 25

• Make-Up Date: Thursday, November 6 at 8:30 a.m.

Step Six

Interview 

We want to get to know you and nothing can replace a good conversation. Our applicants are much more than test scores and grades — that is why a personal interview is your opportunity to tell us all about YOU and ask us questions about SHA too!
