Bloomberg Financial Program

 

SHA prepares young women to confidently explore leadership roles in a digital- and globally-focused jobs market by bringing the real worlds of business and finance to the classroom.

In the Bloomberg Finance Program, students gain valuable hands-on experience as they learn to research, analyze, and compete in the global economy. Using the Bloomberg Terminal, a powerful computer software system, SHA students: 

  • Deepen both their research and classwork
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience with Bloomberg technology
  • Access government, economic, and financial data
  • Practice skills in trade messaging, analytics, and cost analysis
  • Learn how to analyze financial markets, assess economic scenarios, and interpret the news developments that impact the global economy 
  • Receive a Bloomberg certification (typically offered through college-level programs)

This experience provides SHA girls with the advantage they need to prepare and compete for top industry internships, and confidently explore majors and career options in college.
