STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES COORDINATOR 

Alyssa Pascual serves as Student Learning Outcomes Coordinator in the Student Success Center and teaches Freshman Transition and Freshman Foundations. She holds a B.S. in Health Sciences and Public Health and an M.A.T. in Biology Education from Stony Brook University, along with 60 post-master’s graduate credits in education from Andrews University. She brings eight years in education and three years in education-focused nonprofit work. Her specialties include inquiry-based learning, social-emotional learning, culturally relevant pedagogy, anti-bias curriculum, and support for English learners. Alyssa values SHA’s commitment to knowing each student as an individual and supporting her academic, social, emotional, and personal growth.
