MUSIC TEACHER

Vesna Mehinovic directs SHA’s concert, liturgy, chamber, and madrigal choirs and teaches orchestra and keyboard. She brings decades of music education experience across Europe and the United States, including 10 years at SHA. The first woman in Bosnia and Herzegovina to graduate as a conductor, she has led award-winning piano students, orchestras, and choirs at the state and national levels in her native country. Her extraordinary professional abilities were also recognized through U.S. permanent residency, and she has been honored three times as a Summa Scholar Teacher. Vesna values SHA’s close relationships, discipline, faith, and love of music as an essential part of Catholic culture and tradition.
