DEAN OF STUDENTS | DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS 

Raymond Degnan serves as Dean of Students and Director of Athletics. He holds a B.A. in English from Boston College and earned his teaching certification and M.A. in Secondary Education from Sacred Heart University. With 20 years in education, including eight years at SHA, Ray brings a background in literature and writing to his leadership of student life and athletics. He values the Academy’s intentional commitment to fostering empowerment, independence, and a strong sense of self-worth in every student, both in the classroom and through co-curricular experiences.
