ENGLISH TEACHER 

John Christie teaches British and American literature, AP English, and graphic novels and serves as co-advisor of Prism. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. from Southern Connecticut State University and an additional M.A. from Stony Brook University. With approximately 20 years of experience teaching literature and composition at the high school and college levels, his academic interests include British poetry and prose of the 16th and 17th centuries and the work of Marie le Jars de Gournay. John values the ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity of SHA’s student body and admires his students’ drive and curiosity.
