Freshmen English and Junior AP Language and Composition

ENGLISH TEACHER 

Nicole Boucher teaches courses across SHA’s English curriculum, including AP Literature, AP Language and Composition, Shakespeare, mythology, composition, and contemporary literature. She holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Stony Brook University and an M.A. in English from the University of New Mexico, where she also completed extensive doctoral coursework in English literature. Across 27 years in education—including 19 years at SHA—she has developed particular expertise in Renaissance English literature and was recognized as a 2021 Summa Scholar Teacher. Nicole values SHA as a place where young women grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually within a culture of compassion and excellence.
