Merit Scholarships & Financial Aid

Apply by December 1 to be considered for merit scholarships.

To be eligible, applicants must complete the admissions process by December 1. Applications completed after this date are not eligible for merit scholarship consideration.

Planning to apply for financial aid?

Much of our financial aid is awarded early in the admissions cycle. Be sure to complete your application and submit a complete FACTS financial aid profile as early as possible.

We encourage families to apply early and complete all required steps to ensure full consideration.

 

Step one

Your First Step: Tell Us About You

  • Complete the Admissions Inquiry Form.
  • It’s free and does not require any commitment.
  • Tell us a little about yourself so we can personalize your SHA experience.
  • Use the form to learn more about Sacred Heart Academy and our community.
  • After you submit the form, you’ll receive an email with instructions to set up your admissions account.
  • Click the link in the email to complete your account setup.
  • Then you’re ready to take the next step toward your Sacred Heart Academy journey!

Step Two

Your Application: Take the Next Step

  • Log in to your Admissions Portal to access the online application.
  • Complete and submit your application securely online.
  • Your information is sent directly to the Sacred Heart Academy Admissions Office.
  • Once your application is submitted, your Admissions Checklist will appear in your profile.
  • Your checklist will show you what’s been completed and what’s still needed.
  • Use your checklist to stay on track through the admissions process.

Application Deadline: December 1, 2026

 

Step Three

Your Transcripts: We’ll Take It From Here

  • Once you complete your online application, you’ll be prompted to request your transcripts.
  • Submit the online transcript request form.
  • Your current school will provide your transcripts directly to Sacred Heart Academy.
  • Your transcripts will be uploaded to your Admissions Portal.
  • Check your Admissions Checklist to make sure your transcripts have been received.
  • One more step closer to Sacred Heart Academy!

Transcript Deadline: December 1, 2026

 

Step Four

Your Recommendations: Let Us Get to Know You

  • Two teacher recommendations are required.
  • One recommendation must come from a core subject teacher or school administrator.
  • Your second recommendation can come from a teacher of your choice.
  • Request your recommendations directly through your Admissions Portal.
  • Your teacher will receive a secure link to complete the recommendation form.
  • Once submitted, the recommendation is sent directly to the Admissions Office.
  • You’ll receive a notification when each recommendation is completed.
  • Choose teachers who know you well and can share what makes you shine.

Recommendations Deadline: December 1, 2026

Step FIVE

Your Entrance Exam: Your Journey Continues

  • Sacred Heart Academy requires the HSPT as part of the admissions process.
  • Register for the HSPT here.
  • Your exam results will become part of your Admissions Profile.
  • We’re excited to continue the journey with you!

  • Test Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026, 8:30 a.m.

Your Interview: Let Your Story Shine

  • Your interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you.
  • At Sacred Heart Academy, you are more than your grades and test scores.
  • Come ready to share your interests, experiences, goals, and what makes you uniquely you.
  • It’s also your chance to ask questions and learn more about life at SHA.
  • We can’t wait to meet you and hear your story!
