National Honor Society Induction

Sacred Heart Academy proudly honored new and returning members of the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society (NHS) is a prestigious organization that recognizes outstanding high school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. As one of the oldest and most respected academic organizations in the United States, NHS has a long history of encouraging academic achievement and community service among future leaders. In this article, we explore the significance and impact of National Honor Society on the academic and personal growth of its members.

During the induction ceremony, students who qualified for National Honor Society light candles. The four large candles in the center of the table are lit by NHS Officers and represent the four pillars of NHS: Leadership, Scholarship, Service, and Character. As each student was inducted, their candle is lit as they commit to embodying these pillars in the lives.
