Science Fair

February 22nd, 2024 by Kara Redente

Every year Honors Biology and Honors Chemistry students participate in the SHA science fair. The science fair is an independent research project that spans over the entire first semester of school and culminates in a presentation of their findings, which are then judged by SHA science faculty. Project are judged on creativity, execution of the idea, validity of the results and analysis of data. The project should add to the existing body of scientific knowledge and offer new avenues for further exploration. The winners of the science fair head onto the CT Science & Engineering Fair at Quinnipiac University in March.
