  • Academics at Sacred Heart Academy

All classes are taught at a college prep level, and include core requirements that provide broad exposure across several disciplines, along with an extensive selection of elective courses.

Honors courses are designed to challenge highly motivated students with proven study skills. A minimum 3.5 GPA constitutes Honors and a 3.8 GPA constitutes High Honors.

Advanced Placement (AP) and Early College Experience (ECE) classes are college-level courses and, as such, are more demanding. ECE courses allow students to earn college credit at University of Connecticut and other colleges while enrolled at SHA.
