Register Today for Saturdays @ SHA

Saturdays @ SHA are back! Girls in grades 5 to 8 are invited to experience the serious fun of learning without the pressure of formal grades, putting them in contact with ways of thinking, seeing, and doing that challenge them to reflect deeply and think critically.

These no fee programs are filled with activities that promise to inform, engage, and entertain participating students while they make new friends. Join us on Saturday, September 21 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. on the Sacred Heart Academy campus for the fall session.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo Moon Mission, the fall session will focus on the history of the space program and the symbolic aspects of the moon. Led by experienced faculty, with the assistance of current students, participants will watch and discuss videos about the lunar landing and work in small groups to imagine living on the moon, using props and sharing their plans for living life in outer space.
