Cross Country
Led by senior captains Rachel Joyce, Tessa Malloy, and Sarah Anastasio, Cross Country qualified to run in the SCC Meet and the CIAC Class MM meet. They finished in 14th place in the SCC meet and 13th in the CIAC meet, improving four positions from the previous year. Team highlights included great performances in the SCC with JV finishing 7th and our freshmen coming in 2nd. Emily Birney ’20 finished 41st in the state meet and Rachel at 48th. Emily’s performance was the best finish since 2011. Rachel was chosen as the team MVP for her outstanding performance throughout the season which included a 2nd place finish in the Sloper Relay. Overall a very respectful season!

Field Hockey
Field Hockey had an outstanding year led by captains Noura Awad ’18, Claire Donelan ’18, Taylor Dostie ’19, and Jillian Stickles ’18. Their final record was 10-5-2-1 qualifying them for the SCC and CIAC Tournaments before ending the season at the quarter finals. Claire Donelan made 1st team All-SCC, 1st team All-State, 1st All-State Academic, and the Senior Select Team. Taylor Dostie made 2nd team All-SCC and the Junior Select Team.

Swimming and Diving
Swimming and Diving competed at the State Tournament and the State Open. Led by captains Nikki Robinson ’18 and Georgia Rossetti ’18, they finished in 10th place in Class M. Megan Duffy ’18 finished 4th in the 200 IM and 100 Back and Georgia finished 6th in the 200 Free and the 200 & 400 Free Relays. Megan broke the school record which she held in the 100 Breast with a 1:10.13, .01 faster than her previous record. She then competed in the State Open placing 22nd in the 200 IM.

Led by captain Caitlin Buckley ’18, who dedicated herself to the team after suffering a season ending ACL injury, this team was young, but determined. Madeline Guth ’18 and Eleanor Luciani ’19 made the All-SCC team.

Senior captains Chrissy Chow and Liz Mackey led their team into a very difficult SCC schedule. Losing several matches by one point, they continued to stay competitive all year. The future is bright for this very young squad. Chrissy Chow made the All-SCC team.
