Congratulations to Meaghan Cameron, this year’s scholar-athlete who has been recognized for her cumulative grade point average, varsity sports participation, community service, self-discipline, integrity, and leadership. Under normal circumstances Meaghan would have been honored at the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) Scholar-Athlete Awards dinner, but instead her achievements were announced over social media and she was featured on Fox61 News with other students who won this award.
On Monday, March 16, Sacred Heart Academy’s 419 students transitioned to distance learning. Without missing a beat, they began video conferencing and chatting with their teachers and classmates, and even “hanging out” with their lunch table friends.
The following awards were presented and highlights announced at the Fall Athletic Banquet, held in November at Cascade. More than 300 athletes, families, and guests attended to celebrate our athletes and the successful seasons of our fall teams.
