On Monday, March 16, Sacred Heart Academy’s 419 students transitioned to distance learning. Without missing a beat, they began video conferencing and chatting with their teachers and classmates, and even “hanging out” with their lunch table friends.
The following awards were presented and highlights announced at the Fall Athletic Banquet, held in November at Cascade. More than 300 athletes, families, and guests attended to celebrate our athletes and the successful seasons of our fall teams.

After an extensive interview process, President Sr. Sheila O’Neill, ASCJ, Ph.D., ’71 has announced that Raymond Degnan III will serve as the Academy’s new athletic director effective July 1.

Congratulations to senior Mary Sarah Olson, this year’s scholar-athlete. Recognized for her cumulative grade point average, varsity sports participation, community service, self-discipline, integrity, and leadership, Mary Sarah will be honored at the Annual Connecticut High School Scholar Athlete Awards dinner in May.
