Advisory Board

The purpose of the Sacred Heart Academy Advisory Board is to promote and advance the Mission of the School by offering expertise, support and guidance in key areas of School leadership. The Board is comprised of a diverse group of professionals including alumnae, parents, grandparents and friends, who volunteer their time and talent in support of the School and represent Sacred Heart Academy’s core values.

Advisory Board Committees:


 

Executive Committee

Members include the President, the Board Chair, and Chair of each standing committee. Executive Committee members advise the President about issues facing the Board and the Academy; assist in the development of a long-term strategic plan, and monitor such plan; develop goals of each committee, communicate such goals and monitor them; assist in identifying, screening, and developing new board members.

Advancement Committee

The Advancement Committee will assist in the development, implementation, and review of policies concerning public relations, fundraising, alumnae development and other initiatives related to advancing the mission of the School. 

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee

The DEI Committee will support the Administration in developing and promoting strategies and best practices within the realms of racial, social, sexual, and gender diversity.

Finance and Investment Committee

The Finance and Investment Committee will support the Administration in all areas related to reviewing and monitoring the School's annual budget as well as developing a sustainable long-term endowment strategy. The committee will assist in the selection of the external investment advisory firm, monitor their performance and help develop the School's investment policies and procedures, including endowment spending policies.
