Sacred Heart Academy Financial Aid Mission
Sacred Heart Academy seeks young women of strong character with a record of academic success who desire a value-centered education in the Catholic tradition. We believe in supporting the realization of this mission through the implementation of a financial aid program. The availability of school resources, the number of qualified applicants and overall budgetary constraints influence financial assistance decisions. Sacred Heart Academy is committed to providing available financial aid to as many eligible applicants as possible.

Financial Aid Application
Sacred Heart Academy has chosen to use FAST – Financial Aid for School Tuition – by Independent School Management (ISM) to process financial aid applications. FAST is a Web-based application that provides standardized and impartial processing in a confidential setting.
Since the FAST application is Web-based and paper-free, the application information is available to our Financial Aid Committee once a family clicks the "Submit" button.
In order to complete the application, there are a number of financial records you will need. Once you have gathered the necessary financial information, it will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete the application online. You may save your application and return at any time. In addition, a copy of your most recent tax return (2009) must be mailed directly to FAST by March 1, 2010. The address is:

Deadlines
The deadlines for applying for financial aid for the 2010-2011 school year are as follows:
February 15, 2010:
- Current SHA families re-enrolling students
March 1, 2010:
- Families enrolling new students
- All families: Tax information mailed to FAST (Pre-addressed envelopes are available in the school office.)

Fee
The application fee is $34 and must be paid at the end of the on-line application process with a credit card.
