Where Are They Now?

When alumnae gather at Sacred Heart Academy, perhaps the most common question is, "Where is Sister _____?" In the early SHA years and through the 70s, the majority of faculty members were Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Some, like Sr. Gabriel McClain and Sr. Ursula Bongiovanni, spent so many years at SHA that they are known by half of all graduates!

If there is a particular Apostle you wish to reconnect with, you are invited to visit the Apostles' website where there is a Locate An Apostle form you may fill out. If the Sister you are looking for is a living Apostle, your message will be passed on to her. You may also wish to browse the "Where We Serve" section which has photos of the present communities within the U. S. Province. The ASCJ site also has a section called "Preserving Our Past" that has a listing of American Apostles who have died, including complete obituaries for the past few years.
