Homecoming/Reunion Weekend 2010
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to come back to SHA to celebrate your class reunion during Homecoming/Reunion Weekend, September 17 - 18, 2010 (download PDF reservation form). Our annual reunion event is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to reminisce about our time at SHA. You can catch up with old friends and classmates and surround yourself with the excitement of returning to your alma mater.
Looking for an evening of remembering "the old days" as you renew the warmth of friendships made at SHA? Then join us on Friday, September 17, for the Guys & Dolls Night at the Mount Party from 7:00 - 11:00 p.m. An all-request DJ will be on hand for music and dancing. Hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, and sparkling water will be provided by Forks & Fingers. Table and group photos will be taken, courtesy of Kathy McGarry Photography. This event is open to all alumnae of all years with the option of bringing your husband or significant other. The cost is $30.00 per person.
For those who would like to experience liturgy once again in our beautiful chapel, our festivities on Saturday, September 18, begin with the Reunion Liturgy at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Larry Symolon, former SHA chaplain. Reunion group pictures will be taken at 12:30 p.m., courtesy of Kathy McGarry Photography. The Reunion Luncheon, catered by Forks & Fingers, will be held in the SHA cafeteria at 1:00 p.m. The John Mastroianni Jazz Quartet will provide live entertainment. Current SHA students will be available to give guided tours from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Come see what has changed and what has stayed the same! Bring your family and show them where you went to school! Finally, from 4:15 - 5:00 p.m. the Greene Street Girls will have the chance to visit with our older Sisters who taught at SHA in its early years and who now reside at Sacred Heart Manor. The cost for the luncheon is $30.00.
We kindly ask for your RSVP for any of the Homecoming/Reunion Weekend activities by Wednesday, September 15. This deadline allows us to finalize catering, photography, and table arrangements. (Download PDF reservation form)
There is ample parking for all of the events in the upper and lower parking lots located directly in back of the cafeteria. Entrances, including handicapped access, will be clearly marked.
