SHA Fathers' Club

The Sacred Heart Academy Fathers’ Club officers for the 2009-2010 school year are:

President:	Ronald Gizzi of Hamden
Vice-President:	William McCarthy of Hamden
Treasurer:	Stephen Hanchuruck of Branford
Secretary:	Bernard Shemkovitz of Meriden
Moderator:	Sr. Colleen Smith, ASCJ, Principal

All Sacred Heart Academy parents are de facto members of the Mothers’ and Fathers’ Clubs and are encouraged to attend meetings which are held on the first Monday of each month. The purpose of the clubs is to provide camaraderie among parents who coordinate special activities for parents and daughters to experience. The Parents’ Clubs also support activities and events in which Sacred Heart Academy parents are involved.

In particular, the Fathers' Club is involved in parking for all events, building sets for musical and auction, hosting three Sports Awards Banquets during the year, painting and fix-it days during the summer, sponsoring athletic awards, hosting the Father/Daughter Liturgy and Breakfast, and sponsoring scholarships.
