Virtual Tour

An onsite visit is really the best way to experience all that SHA has to offer. However, thanks to the Photography Club, we have assembled a nice selection of slide shows to give you a sneak preview. These are organized by theme as opposed to what you would experience in a walking tour. Please note that you may "mouse over" the maroon border at the top of each show to bring up controls; the magnifying glass at the left will allow you to view the show in its own window. Each photo has a "description" tab at the bottom that will provide information about the photo. Although the slides will advance on their own, you may also use the "arrow" controls at the top, allowing you time to read the descriptions.

Access to the School Building
Refresh

Depending on whether you are a student arriving by bus or car, or whether you are at SHA for a meeting or an athletic event, there are several ways to enter the building.

During the school day, however, the building is secure with access only via the carport entrance.

Academic Spaces

SHA has many styles of classroom spaces. The main wing of the building built in 1958, the gym section added in 1996, and the expansion into the Provincialate wing in 2006 each offer a different look. The science labs have all been renovated within the past several years.

Sacred Heart Academy has access to the Mount Sacred Heart Chapel located between the school and the convent. The Mount chapel is able to accommodate the entire school community for liturgies. In addition, the school has a small chapel on the second floor.

Although they may go unnoticed during the pace of a typical day, the SHA building itself as well as the entire Mount Sacred Heart property feature a variety of statues and crests.
