Directions

From I-95 (east or west of New Haven)

• Proceed toward New Haven to Exit 48
• Proceed north on I-91 (North Hartford) to Exit 10
• Proceed on Route 40 Connector to Exit 1. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp
• Proceed 500 feet to intersection (traffic light)
• Turn left onto Hartford Turnpike
• Proceed 500 feet under bridge to intersection (traffic light)
• Turn right onto Dixwell Avenue
• Proceed approximately 4 miles – you will pass Hamden Town Hall, Hamden Mart, Hamden Plaza, Hamden High School, you will go under the Wilbur Cross Parkway, and will pass Dunkin Donuts on your right
• At the next light, turn right onto Benham Street
• Proceed approximately 1/2 mile, passing one traffic light (Mix Avenue), and turn right just prior to the next traffic light into the entrance of Sacred Heart Academy
• The school is 1/4 mile up the driveway.

From I-91 (southbound from Hartford and points north)

• Proceed south to Exit 10
• Follow the above directions from that point.

From the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway/Route 15 (southbound)

• Proceed to Exit 60 in Hamden
• At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Dixwell Avenue
• Proceed to the second traffic light and turn right onto Benham Street
• Proceed approximately 1/2 mile, passing one traffic light (Mix Avenue), and turn right just prior to the next traffic light into the entrance of Sacred Heart Academy
• The school is 1/4 mile up the driveway.

From the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway/Route 15 (northbound from Fairfield and points south)

• Proceed to Exit 60 in Hamden
• At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Dixwell Avenue
• Proceed to the first traffic light and turn right onto Benham Street
• Proceed approximately 1/2 mile, passing one traffic light (Mix Avenue), and turn right just prior to the next traffic light into the entrance of Sacred Heart Academy
• The school is 1/4 mile up the driveway.

From Downtown New Haven

• Proceed north on Dixwell Avenue to the intersection of Benham Street (Acropolis Diner is on the left)
• Turn left onto Benham Street
• Proceed approximately 1/2 mile, passing one traffic light (Mix Avenue), and turn right just prior to the next traffic light into the entrance of Sacred Heart Academy
• The school is 1/4 mile up the driveway.
